KARACHI (September 24, 2026): Chairman Malik Group of Companies and Pakistan Petroleum Dealers Association (PPDA) Malik Khuda Baksh has said that Malik Group is rendering prominent services in the petroleum sector and has now started installing modern equipment for electric vehicle charging facilities across the country, as electric vehicles are the future of Pakistan.
He was speaking at the inauguration ceremony for the construction of Malik Energy Three Petroleum Services at ASF City, Jamshoro, on the Super Highway. The ceremony was attended by Fossil Oil Marketing Company CEO Saleem Butt, Lt. Col. (R) Jamshed Hayat Niazi, CEO of Clover Pakistan Limited, Malik Group of Companies Director Operations Ayesha Malik, PPDA Vice Chairman Malik Sher Khan, Tariq Hassan, Anwar Kamal, Smart Fusion Tech CEO Ahmed Khan, Imran Farooqui, Qamar Faraz, ASF Director Projects & Marketing Syed Abbas Tehzeem and other prominent personalities.
Malik Khuda Baksh said that a one-window operation is essential for promoting business activities so that investors do not have to visit different departments and their issues can be resolved at a single platform. He said the establishment of a modern petroleum and energy station at ASF City would provide greater convenience to citizens and travellers commuting between Hyderabad and Karachi.
Speaking on the occasion, Fossil Oil Marketing Company CEO Saleem Butt said that an Energy City should be developed in the area so that it could become a comprehensive residential and commercial hub for people settling there. He stressed the need to simplify the NOC process and establish a one-window system to facilitate and expand business activities.
Lt. Col. (R) Jamshed Hayat Niazi said that rules and regulations were necessary for business activities, but the NOC process should not become a hurdle to investment and business development. He said the ASF City project was launched in 2017 and development work was progressing rapidly. He welcomed the entry of Malik Group into the petroleum and energy sector at ASF City.
Malik Group of Companies Director Operations Ayesha Malik said that Malik Group had established a positive position in the petroleum and energy sectors across the country, which was why consumers and business circles continued to place their trust in the group.
