Islamabad May 19, 2026: A high level 12-member delegation of senior officers from the Bangladesh Civil Service visited NADRA Headquarters today as part of their study tour of Pakistan under the thematic component “Policy Innovation” of the Pakistan–Bangladesh Knowledge Corridor. The delegation was headed by Ms. Salma Siddiqua Mahtab and was accompanied by Mr. Farhan Aziz Khawaja, Director General, Civil Services Academy.
Chairman NADRA warmly welcomed the delegation and briefed them on Pakistan’s national identity and registration system, its regulatory framework, and the technologies underpinning it. The visiting officers showed keen interest in NADRA’s digital infrastructure and its citizen service delivery mechanisms across Pakistan, including services for overseas Pakistanis.
Speaking on the occasion, the Chairman said that Pakistan and Bangladesh, owing to their shared aspirations, can learn from each other’s experiences and best practices.
The delegation appreciated NADRA’s institutional strengths and expressed interest in continued engagement and cooperation.
