A 17-member high-profile trade delegation of the Rice Exporters Association of Pakistan (REAP), led by Mr. Muhammad Jawed Jillani, Senior Vice Chairman REAP, has departed for the People’s Republic of China on an official trade promotion visit from 20th to 28th July 2026. The delegation aims to promote Pakistani rice, strengthen bilateral trade relations, and further enhance Pakistan’s market share in the Chinese market.
During the visit, the delegation will hold a series of high-level meetings with leading Chinese rice importers, traders, business associations, and government officials in Guangzhou and Beijing. These engagements are intended to showcase the premium quality of Pakistani rice, explore new business opportunities, establish long-term commercial partnerships, and further expand Pakistan’s rice exports to China.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Muhammad Jawed Jillani expressed confidence that the visit would further strengthen trade ties between Pakistan and China and create new opportunities for Pakistani rice exporters. He emphasized that China remains one of Pakistan’s most important export destinations, and REAP is committed to expanding the presence of premium Pakistani rice in the Chinese market through sustained engagement with key stakeholders.
