Karachi: The Pakistan Software Houses Association for IT & ITES (P@SHA), the apex trade body representing Pakistan’s IT and IT-enabled Services (ITeS) industry, has officially launched the 22nd edition of the P@SHA ICT Awards, inviting technology companies, startups, entrepreneurs, students, women-led businesses, and public sector innovators from across the country to submit their nominations.
For more than two decades, the P@SHA ICT Awards have served as Pakistan’s premier platform for recognizing innovation, excellence, and technological achievement. The awards, scheduled to take place in September 2026 inKarachi, will continue this legacy by celebrating the country’s most innovative technology companies and individuals.
This year’s awards will feature 10 core categories and 41 sub and cross categories, recognizing achievements across Artificial Intelligence, FinTech, Cybersecurity, HealthTech, Cloud Computing, Digital Government, Sustainability, Enterprise Solutions, Emerging Technologies, and several other domains.
Speaking on the launch, Senior Vice Chairman of P@SHA and Brand Chair, Muhammad Umair Nizam, said: “The P@SHA ICT Awards recognize and celebrate the talent, innovation, and achievements advancing Pakistan’s technology sector. As Pakistan’s premier AI-enabled awards, they highlight the companies, startups, and individuals developing transformative solutions and contributing to digital innovation. We encourage innovators from across Pakistan to participate and showcase their excellence on this national platform.”
He further emphasized that the awards are free to apply, ensuring equal opportunity for all organizations, including startups, SMEs, established technology companies, exporters, students, women-led ventures, and public sector digital initiatives.
The P@SHA ICT Awards are Pakistan’s most prestigious technology awards and serve as the country’s official gateway to the Asia Pacific ICT Alliance (APICTA) Awards, where winners and runners-up represent Pakistan on one of the region’s leading technology platforms. Pakistani companies have consistently earned international recognition at APICTA, highlighting the country’s growing strength in innovation and digital excellence.
The launch of the P@SHA ICT Awards comes at a significant milestone for Pakistan’s technology sector. In FY2026, Pakistan achieved a record USD $4.6 billion in IT exports, reflecting the sector’s growing global competitiveness and increasing contribution to the national economy. Today, Pakistan’s technology companies continue to serve clients across North America, Europe, the Middle East, Asia-Pacific, and Africa through software development, AI solutions, fintech, cybersecurity, cloud services, gaming, and digital products.
